The world’s biggest motocross race, the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, took on the American circuit of RedBud where Team France ecstatically hoisted the Chamberlain trophy for their 5th year in a row!
The French team was led to victory by team captain and Monster Energy FIM MXoN veteran Gautier Paulin (Husqvarna) along with Dylan Ferrandis (Yamaha) and Jordi Tixier (KTM). Coming in second by only a two-point deficit was the Italian team of Antonio Cairoli, Michele Cervellin, and Alessandro Lupino. Taking the final spot on the podium was team Netherlands led by Jeffrey Herlings along with Calvin Vlaanderen and Glenn Coldenhoff.
An amazing end to a sensational motocross season for Red Bull KTM. Glenn Coldenhoff, Jeffrey Herlings and Jorge Prado won all three motos and all three categories at a wet but packed RedBud circuit with both Dutchman on the final podium in third place and Tony Cairoli finishing runner-up as part of Team Italy.
Gautier Paulin – Team France [MXGP]: “It is an incredible feeling to win the MXoN with Team France for a fifth time in a row. I really have no words to describe how happy I am. Conditions were far from ideal during the whole weekend here at Red Bud, but we made things work to our advantage. I gave my best in both motos and kept pushing until the very end. A special thanks to all the members of my Rockstar Energy Husqvarna team. Winning this trophy with Team France is the best way to wrap up a long season.”
