Ducati roadshow at the Leadburn Inn

Ducati Glasgow provided motorcycle enthusiasts with almost the entire 2018 Ducati model range to test ride, an incredible demonstrator fleet with a combined bhp of nearly 800! The staff mapped out the routes and took groups of riders out for a 30 minute spin, every 45 minutes on these incredible high-performance bikes. Pre-booking was advised although some lucky riders had the chance to get their leg over an available new model.

The demonstrator fleet showcased the 2018 models including the new Panigale V4 S, Multistrada 1260 and 950, SuperSport S, X Diavel S cruiser, the extremely versatile Monster 821, as well as the ever popular Scrambler Icon 800 and brand new Scrambler 1100. With over 20 test rides pre-booked over 2 hours, the Ducati Dealer also showcased the bikes on display for an hour after test riding so visitors had some definite Ducati eye candy to admire.

The test ride loop took around 30 minutes and covered a variety of roads including wide sweeping roads, perfect straights and tight corners, giving riders the ability to feel the motorcycles performance and handling.

Members of the Scottish Ducati Club also arrived in style to present their classic and special edition models which included a limited edition Ducati 916 and a range-topping, brand new 2018  Panigale 959 Corse.

Blair Willoughby, Ducati Glasgow Sales Manager commented, “It’s nice to be over in the East actually, it’s like a day out for us! Ducati Glasgow is here for the Ducati owners throughout Scotland so it’s great to be over here with our bikes and staff. The Leadburn Inn have been very accommodating, big thanks to Ian and all the team!”

2018 Ducati Roadshow at The Green Welly

The Ducati Glasgow / UK Roadshow provided motorcycle enthusiasts in Scotland with almost the entire 2018Ducatimodel range, an extended demonstrator fleet to ride around some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery.The California Superbike School were also in attendance with experienced guides who mapped out the routes and took groups of riders out for a 30 minute spin, every 45 minutes on these incredible high-performance bikes.

Ducati Glasgow support the Ducati UK event truck every year with their shared demonstrator fleet therefore, this fully-booked event has become a permanent fixture on the Ducati UK events calendar. For 2018 the number of Ducati models available was increased due to customer demand.

The demonstrator fleet showcased the 2018 models including the new Panigale V4 S, Multistrada 1260, 1200 and 950, SuperSport, models from the Diavel cruiser range and various Monsters, as well as the popular Scrambler 800s. With over 120 test rides pre-booked over the two days, the brand new Scrambler 1100 Special, 1100 Classic and Multistrada 1260 S were also on display so visitors always had some definite Ducati eye candy to admire.

The Scottish Ducati Club also arrived in style to present their classic and special edition models which included an ultra-limited edition Ducati Panigale S Anniversario, a 205bhp high-tech, range-topping Italian superbike aimed at marking 90 years since Ducati was founded, and a limited-edition Ducati PaulSmart 1000 LE. A retro styled motorcycle built by Ducati in 2006 to commemorate Paul Smart’s win at the Imola 200 race in 1972, a win that helped define Ducati’s future approach to racing, was also on show. Visitors who were thinking of changing their bike also received a part-exchange estimate on the day.
